The scientific process will be carried out by taking into account the principles stated below.
The theme of the congress, important dates (deadline for submission of papers, acceptance notification date, registration date, etc.), types of papers (abstract, full text, poster, etc.), submission rules (format, length, language, etc.) and contact information will be clearly stated in the call for papers.
The process will be more organized and trackable by ensuring that papers are sent through an online system.
The evaluation of papers will be carried out by expert referees in the field. The refereeing process will evaluate the scientific quality, originality and relevance of the papers to the congress theme.
The referees' feedback on the papers will provide the authors with the opportunity to improve their work.
Authors will be notified of accepted papers in a timely and official manner. The notification will provide information about the presentation type (oral, poster, etc.) and presentation rules.
The congress program will be organized to show the order, time and place of presentation of the papers. The program will be announced to the participants in advance.
Authors will be informed about the time allocated for presentations, equipment to be used (projection, microphone, etc.) and other technical details.
Abstracts or full texts of the papers presented at the congress will be published in the proceedings book after going through the peer-reviewed process. Authors may also have their papers published as book chapters scanned by national or international publishing houses upon their request (in books to be published by Özgür Yayıncılık, Sidas Yayıncılık and Emerald Publishing). Papers that pass the referee process at the congress may be published in the Academic Food journal scanned in the Scopus database, The Journal of Travel and Hotel Business (SOID) and Sivas Interdisciplinary Tourism Research Journal upon the authors' request. This process will be carried out by the editors and referees of the relevant journals.
The studies presented at the congress will be expected to comply with the principles of scientific honesty.
Ethical violations such as plagiarism (presenting someone else's work as your own) and fraud (fabricating or altering data) will not be accepted. Authors will be required to disclose any conflicts of interest (e.g. financial support, institutional affiliations, etc.) related to their work.
