Points to consider when submitting a paper:
- Abstracts must be at least 150 and at most 200 words.
- Only the names and surnames of the authors must be written. There should be no information such as titles, etc.
- Abstracts and full texts must be prepared in accordance with the templates below.
- Full text papers must be prepared in accordance with the template and be a maximum of 10 pages.
Points to consider when presenting papers:
- The time given for presentations is 15 minutes, with a 5-minute question-answer section. The total presentation time is 20 minutes.
- In order to prevent disruption of the sessions, attention must be paid to presentation times.
- Although there is no standard presentation template for presentations, the use of the template below is recommended.
- A minimum of 16 points must be used in presentations.
- Logos and/or expressions that will advertise any brand and/or company should be avoided in presentations.
- The presentations should be delivered to the Session Chair by the authors on a USB memory stick in case of connection problems that may occur on the day of the session.
- The Congress Participation Certificates will be sent to the responsible author via e-mail after the congress, no physical document will be given.
- The header information in the templates should not be tampered with.
The scientific process will be carried out by taking into account the principles stated below.
1. Call for Papers and Submission Process
The theme of the congress, important dates (deadline for submission of papers, acceptance notification date, registration date, etc.), types of papers (abstract, full text, poster, etc.), submission rules (format, length, language, etc.) and contact information will be clearly stated in the call for papers.
The process will be more organized and trackable by ensuring that papers are sent through an online system.
2. Evaluation Process
The evaluation of papers will be carried out by expert referees in the field. The refereeing process will evaluate the scientific quality, originality and relevance of the papers to the congress theme.
The referees' feedback on the papers will provide the authors with the opportunity to improve their work.
3. Acceptance and Presentation Process
Authors will be notified of accepted papers in a timely and official manner. The notification will provide information about the presentation type (oral, poster, etc.) and presentation rules.
The congress program will be organized to show the order, time and place of presentation of the papers. The program will be announced to the participants in advance.
Authors will be informed about the time allocated for presentations, equipment to be used (projection, microphone, etc.) and other technical details.
4. Publication Process
Abstracts or full texts of the papers presented at the congress will be published in the proceedings book after going through the peer-reviewed process. Authors may also have their papers published as book chapters scanned by national or international publishing houses upon their request (in books to be published by Özgür Yayıncılık, Sidas Yayıncılık and Emerald Publishing). Papers that pass the referee process at the congress may be published in the Academic Food journal scanned in the Scopus database, The Journal of Travel and Hotel Business (SOID) and Sivas Interdisciplinary Tourism Research Journal upon the authors' request. This process will be carried out by the editors and referees of the relevant journals.
5. Ethical Principles
The studies presented at the congress will be expected to comply with the principles of scientific honesty.
Ethical violations such as plagiarism (presenting someone else's work as your own) and fraud (fabricating or altering data) will not be accepted. Authors will be required to disclose any conflicts of interest (e.g. financial support, institutional affiliations, etc.) related to their work.
